For years I've heard things like "think positive" and "it takes money to make money" and "you are what you eat". I know there is a good basis for most of the "sayings" or proverbs or euphemisms, but sometimes they are also very subjective and do not have relevance. Or they become outdated with new information.
I've been learning how to adjust my thinking. I have heard many things in the past and they have run off me, or gone over my head, because I wasn't ready for them at that time. Then when I need the information, I hear it again and suddenly it is like it is highlighted in my mind. I may even know that I've heard before, but now it is important, or believable, or has relevance for me.
There is a book I've really enjoyed, and would recommend, that has made a big difference in how I see myself. It actually isn't the same kind of self-help book, like Think and Grow Rich would be. But in overcoming negative behavior or self-defeating behaviors, it is great. It is called Feelings Buried Alive Never Die by Karol K. Truman. In this book she says all the things we have seen, heard, experienced and been taught are buried somewhere in our mind/heart/personality. When we want to change something, eliminate pain, overcome our challenges, we need to access the source of those feelings and experiences. But rather than having to go back and revisit the pain or struggle, we can ask our spirit or superconsciousness to find and eliminate or modify it for us. We can eliminate many of the symptoms of those painful experiences, even health challenges, as we access this source of help.
I have used it to help me overcome fear, self consciousness, lack of self esteem, addictive behaviors, and other things that I did not want in my life. It is amazing to me that some of the things can be overcome so easily. I would really recommend everyone who wants their lives to be more full and rich to check out the library or purchase your own book. I go back to the book frequently to get more information, to review things I've forgotten, or weren't important the last time I reviewed the book.
You can find this book at Amazon or other books that you want to change your life. We are either growing or shrinking, and that is not just about our physical stature.
I have also enbarked on a couple of educational programs that I can get through the mail, learning how to create an internet business with all the itinerate possibilities, and becoming a more persuasive and charismatic person. I'm learning that to be successful you need to have an abundance mindset, not a poverty perspective.
When I was thinking negatively and dwelling on debts or drawbacks, then that was what I attracted. When I decided to do something different, to look for solutions instead of thinking of all the stumbling blocks in my path, things began to happen. The teachers, the mentors, the gurus seem to come just when I needed them. When the time was right, and I was ready to hear what they had to say, they came.

DO YOU WANT TO REINVENT YOURSELF?
I have been learning about eCommerce and how to blog, and earn money over the internet. I have learned about drop shipping, affiliate programs, eBay, craigslist, and a host of other things that have changed the way I think. But the most important thing I've learned has taken place in the last week. I realized, with some help from coaches, that I need to change my mind set. I have been thinking from a scarsity rather than an abundance perspective. Now I've heard about that before, I've read books and listened to tapes and CD's that have talked about the effect of your thinking on whether you repel or attract money, I watched "The Secret" several times, and I've listened to Tony Robbins and others. But until now I did not really see my way out of my situation.
Robert Allen, the author of several books and the maker of many millionaires, has created a place to offer training to anyone who wants to change their lives, to reinvent themselves. For a preview of what he has to offer go to this website. It could change your life for the better. You won't be sorry.

HEALTHY, ENERGETIC, ENTHUSIASTIC LIFE
I have been reading up on ways to improve my own life and the lives of others I know. There are lots of products in the natural health and vitamin world that are not that well known, or at least that I did not know about before, or did not know where to find before. Also I am looking into finding eye glasses that are less expensive than those I find at some of the better known places. What I want are places to get the products I want without having to pay a huge amount for them.
I have begun to look at places like Amazon.com and Linkshare. com to find things I will be using or recommending to others. I have found a website that compares weight loss pills, that is a consumer reporting kind of place.

Getting Healthy
I have embarked on a new career, and I'm starting an eCommerce business. I have listened to Cd's and educational web cams regarding the eCommerce field, and I have learned a lot about blogging, drop shipping, domain names, information dissemination, keyword phrases, so my blog will be changing and growing every few days as I incorporate things I am learning.
Since I have been told to find something that I am passionate about to start with, I think one of my passions is becoming more healthy. I use natural health methods wherever possible, and I really believe in acupuncture and chiropractic methods as much as possible. I also believe in biochemic tissue salts. They are wonderful and so effective.
And I'm going to be losing weight as I go along. As a child I could eat anything and never gain weight. But after having six children I have gradually gained a few pounds each year and now I have quite a few to lose. And I really don't like exercise--or maybe I should say I don't like to sweat. I am looking for a way to lose fat without having to sweat. I don't like the sticky, drippy feeling that comes with sweating. Maybe I will have to take up swimming. I don't mind getting wet, I just don't like being sticky.
If anyone reading this has suggestions, please let me know.
